Dubai National Insurance & Reinsurance (DNI), one of the leading Insurance Companies in UAE, has signed today a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with UAE Cycling Federation (UAECF), a non-profit sports organisation that promotes and encourages cycling in the country. Under the exclusive partnership, DNIR is named the official insurer for all cyclists registered with UAECF. The MoU was signed in the presence of Mr. Mohammed Al Habtoor, Board of Director, Dubai National Insurance & Reinsurance (DNIR)

Mr. Abdulla Al Nuaimi, CEO of Dubai National Insurance & Reinsurance (DNIR), said, "We are delighted to be the exclusive insurer for the UAECF, an organisation focussed in developing interest in sports activities among the youth and others in the country. The burgeoning cycling community plays an important role in reducing the country’s carbon footprint and helps enhance public health in line with our ruler’s vision. For this reason, we, at DNIR developed the Pedal Cycle Insurance Program to address specific requirements of avid riders and provide peace of mind to all cyclists.”

The Pedal Cycle Insurance Coverage will be mandatory for all cyclists registered under the UAECF. As an exclusive sponsor, DNIR will provide complimentary policies to UAECF Cyclists forming the National Team. Having a layer of protection from a reliable source will enhance the peace of mind during every ride.”
